This privacy notice describes how we might collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.

Present Streak is designed with privacy as a priority. All data you enter into the App—including your username, attendance logs, semester dates, and target percentages—is stored locally on your device using secure local storage.

Device Permissions

The App requests the following permissions to function properly:

  • Notifications & Alarms: Used to schedule daily reminders so you don't forget to log your attendance.
  • Vibration / Wake Lock: Used to ensure the notification popups function correctly and alarm systems wake the device at selected times.

These permissions are used strictly on your device to run the local notification system.

2. How We Use Your Information

Because all data is kept locally on your device, we do not have access to it. Your data is used exclusively within the App to:

  • Calculate your attendance percentages.
  • Generate streaks, XP, level status, and predictor stats.
  • Schedule local daily reminders.

3. Data Backup

The App offers a local encrypted backup option. When generated, the App stores an encrypted file on your device's local storage. This file is never automatically uploaded to the cloud or shared with us.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party advertising networks, analytics providers, or tracking systems that monitor your usage or collect device IDs.

5. Changes to This Privacy Notice

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date and will be effective immediately.
